We discussed his origin in the comics industry, including his time as an editor at Vertigo Comics where he worked on such books as The Unwritten, Daytripper, Sweet Tooth, and many, many more iconic titles. We also talked about the influences that went into writing both The Good Asian and The Sandman Universe: The Dead Boy Detectives (over at DC) and what it means to represent a people and a culture that haven’t historically been featured in comics (though it’s getting better on that front).
